Link for the fire weather. If you look at the Hanes index you can get an idea of what the weather is doing in 4 hour blocks.
If the Hanes index is over 4 then burning is not recommended. This is found on the Hastings NWS page under forecast then fire weather.
The only one that can generally can get issued a permit without looking at the weather is the Nature Conservatory.
